new year's resolutions

well well well...
I reckon I should make some changes to my life, and what's a better time to do so than the start of a brand new year?

Bye 2011, and hello 2012!

And here goes my list for my 2012's resolutions, in no particular order:

1) To get back in shape
my hunch tells me that I have been going in the wrong direction with all the heavy and late meals. And with all the weighing scales, it's been proven true that the number had gone up! Yucks! So tell me, how could I continue to eat so much and ignore those digits?? Anyways, another motivation behind this is that I really don't wish to look fat in my bridal shoot, though I don't know when it's gonna happen, haha! Better to be prepared earlier.

2) To love myself more inside out
I always believe that I can do things fast and this urgency has resulted in me neglecting myself in so many ways... So starting from today, I'm gonna take longer showers, pamper my skin with lotsa moisturizer, drink at least 8 glasses of water, cut down my caffeine intake, go for more pedicure treatment, make appointments for facial etc. We have to first love ourselves before we could love others.

3) Tender, Loving, Care
it's been a year & 5 months since we got together. he certainly deserves more than what he's getting now.  :)

4) Dressing for Success
This couldn't be more true than anything! 'You need to dress like whom you want to be'. That means I need to set aside more budget for more shopping each month so that I could give my wardrobe a makeover from time to time.

5) Home Sweet Home
Work has taken so much time from me and I had been neglecting my family so so much. With all the OTs, and the long journey home, it has kinda deter me from coming home for dinner. I need to start devoting more time to my family.

6) Be good at what I do
2 years into my job and I still don't perform up to even my own expectations, it's time to pull up my socks and start showing real results. I need to outdo myself and deliver much more. Strive for excellence!

And that's it for now! :D

Once in a lifetime

Yes, if I could, I would want to get married to my boy now!
haha.. but of course, it doesn't happen so easily in real life.
it's all about the money money money.

Now that both of us have started working, we could finally start saving for our big day. I'm hoping that this day could come when both of us are 25, which will happen in 2013.
long long way to go...
I'm an impatient girl.
I don't wanna wait till there are fine lines on my face before he puts on that ring on my finger.

anyways.
Having purchased our overseas bridal photo shoot. it's now time to decide where we wanna hold our solemnization and wedding dinner. It's gonna be a one day affair, that's for sure.

I have always wanted to hold them at some unique venues.
ballrooms? nah!
hotels? nah!
Why pay such a hefty sum for just a 8 course meal that barely cost around $300?

I want a place with exclusivity; complements with either greenery or picturesque scenic views.
Such as

Sentosa Golf Club

Glass House, Sentosa Cove

Suburbia, Sentosa

Glass Pavilion, Amara Sanctuary Resort Sentosa

Chijmes

Sometimes it really pays to be a little kiasu; book early to avoid inflation! :)
