biting my teeth

Monday was a Torture!!!

My tooth has been giving me problems for a while and when I finally had time to see the dentist last Thursday, to my surprise, I was told I need to pluck all my wisdom teeth.
NOOooooooo!!!

Had to go USS the next day so I told the dentist, no way!
I shall enjoy my long awaited holiday before any physical and mental torture.

But well... Monday came so soon that before I know, I was sitting in the clinic, waiting for my name to be called.

Just the mere thought of jab and all the twisting and pulling of my tooth freak me out!
1, 2 or all 4 teeth?

In the end, I mustered all my courage and decided that 2 it is, upper 2 wisdom teeth.
five minutes procedure on each side and tada, there goes my teeth!

This is the 2nd most severe one, with 2-holes decay.

And here's the culprit to all the pain I had to endure...

One big hole in the middle!

Gross isn't it???

It's been 2 days now and I must say the pain isn't as bad as I was told. And perhaps having your wisdom tooth extracted is a good way to lose weight. I have been eating bowls and bowls of porridge that could barely fill me. so hunger-ry! It's almost impossible for me to bite harder food, and I had to practically swallow all.

That's the consequences you have to bear if you don't take good care of your teeth!

P.S. I must be down on luck with all these pains and an ugly fringe! :(

There you go!

The story left untold

Grabbed this photo off Facebook that I thought was pretty much relevant and accurate to how people sees the Events Industry. 2 years into the job and I must say, I'm still loving it. Come to think of it, I'm so glad that somehow, the opportunity was presented to me when I was still studying back in SMU. And I'm blessed enough to be doing something that really interests me. Talk about Monday blues which most people feel, it almost never happened to me before, except for times when I was really burnt out.

Anyways.

Just concluded one of the more special events - Flea Market at City Square Mall.

Poster designed by my colleague, Jun Yan.

3 years back when I had a blogshop, I almost wanted to be a Flea Organizer. And today, my dream has finally come true! I'm the organizer of the Flea Market at City Square Mall, how AWESOME is that!!!  Thus, you can see just how wonderful my job is; allowing me to do things that I'm really passionate about!

It's so late now and I haven't had a good rest for the past 3 days. Off to bed and I shall talk more about my job in the next post!
