Where has common courtesy gone today?

Oh my oh my!
Seriously, what has happened to the world that we are living in right now???

I have witnessed countless cases where people don't even show others the basic respect that one ought to receive.

Just this afternoon, I attended a briefing for an award. And there came this woman, whom were late for the briefing, and the very minute she sat down, she interrupted the speaker by asking, "will you be sending us these slides? Or do I have to take notes?". The speaker replied, "Sorry but we don't send out our slides, the information is all on our website." And this lady, I wonder if she's dumb or what, raised her voice saying, "I'm asking if you will EMAIL the slides! You are not answering my question."
Hellooo woman! If you can't understand English, please go away! Didn't the speaker just answer your question? And when the speaker tried to explain to her again, she simply can't get it that her question was already answered the very first time she asked. Stupid or what!

These people, either lack the EQ or are simply ill bred, should go and do some self-reflection, time to correct your behaviors!

8 Days Exuberant Korea ~ Part 1

An Nyong Ha Se Yo!

Made a spontaneous decision to travel to KOREA this year.
After doing a one day research on the travel agencies; comparing the itinerary and package, we settled for Genting Holiday. Despite being a small travel agency at Bukit Timah Plaza, the customer service rendered was excellent! And the package was cheaper than other more established travel agencies, think it was around $1.5K++ with all taxes in.

Places of attraction that we visited:

Day 1 was basically the night that we checked in and boarded our flight. That was considered 1 day too!

Day 2
Upon arrival in Incheon, we had few hours to kill before our domestic flight to Jeju.
Our first stop Cheongwadae Sarangchae Exhibition & Museum where we were being introduced to the history of Seoul and the legacy of Korea's former presidents. I didn't pay much attention except for the part where many of their presidents were murdered for their wrongdoings.

Blue House - The presidential residence of Korea

Our first meal in Korea: Ginseng Chicken Soup
After our lunch, we boarded the plane again and left for Jeju where we stayed for 2 nights.

Mysterious Road: where unusal phenomenon happens...
Bottles rolling up the slope; bus going uphill with its engine off.
Haha! But I know the secret behind this mystery!

Next, we visited Halla-San National Park.
If you are not much of a fan for all the flora and fauna,
I guess this might be one of the places that you might want to give it a miss.

Our final stop for the day: Yongduam Rock
If you look to the right side of this photo, you will be able to see a dragon head.

Day 3
Greeted by the cool breeze and fresh air at Sunrise Peak.
It took us 20 mins to climb to the mountain peak and our muscles ached for days after the strenuous exercise.
Next up: Seopjikoji
one of the places used as sets for movies and TV dramas
more walking required to reach the white lighthouse which was quite a distance away

We had an interesting session at Folk Village where we learnt about the residential culture of the island.

Black Pig that performs similar roles to a guard dog.
Black Boar BBQ
(Remember the black pig we saw earlier?)
Gearing up for our ATV Rides.
The outfit is to protect us from all the dirt.
Windmill Towers located at the park in Jeju Lotte Hotel
Teddy Bear Museum
Galleries of bear span across 2 levels

Cheonjeyeon Waterfalls : The ponds of Gods
There's actually a story behind this waterfall where a mortal fell in love with a beautiful fairy.
